Why Parlour?

It all starts with parlour’s apprenticeship progress. You will be mentored by one of parlour’s Master stylists. Learning from some of Torontos best talent.
This one-on-one learning will be invaluable to see how to interact with clients, learn formulation, watch new techniques and most importantly ask questions.

During mentorship you will be working on models that will start from simple to challenging. Starting with either cut or colour, depending on your strengths, your mentor will be there the whole way to guide and support.
On top of a mentorship, parlour will cover all costs of classes such as special guest artists, Wella Studio and Vidal Sassoon Academy.

Parlour’s goal is to provide the tools and training necessary to make a successful Junior stylist. This pathway runs at the pace of the individual apprentice and their drive and skill set.

Most importantly, parlour’s apprenticeship program is an opportunity to make parlour salon a place to call home.

Apprentice Services.
Taking Clients:
Once apprentices are put through our in-house training they will be approved to take clients for basic services.
Service Time:
Apprentices are still at the very start of their career and with that they are allocated some extra time and support from senior stylists, if needed.
If you are booking an apprentice service please allow yourself extra time for the service.
Adjustments:
Should clients need an adjustment after their service, the adjustment will be done with the apprentice and a senior stylists as this will be used as part of the learning process.
Pricing:
Apprentice services are priced at a discounted rate to reflect their level of expertise and the additional time that may be required to complete the service.
